The choice of equine professionals

When it comes to producing the world’s finest equine athletes, it helps to consider it as a four-legged table upon which those trophies and accolades rest. Each of those four legs – vet care, nutrition, shoeing, and training – is just as important as the other: without just one of them, the table will not stand straight to support winning results.

Not coincidentally, those legs correspond to the four professionals horse owners rely on the most to keep their horses in top condition: veterinarians, facility managers, farriers and trainers. Although facility managers, as the ones usually selecting feed and forage sources, are generally primary when it comes to nutrition, trainers, veterinarians and even farriers are all powerful influencers, and have a vested interest in seeing the critical nutrition leg be as strong as the other three.
