Hobbies: My most favorite thing to do is sit on my boat and fish with my best friend while we drink beer. I do it as often as possible!

Hero / Idol: Clint Eastwood
Superstitions / Rituals / Beliefs: I make a point to party hard the night before a big class! I know that goes against the norm, but it’s always seemed to work for me! And I always put my left boot on first.
Sporting Philosophy / Motto: I’ve always lived by the rule that you’ve gotta work hard and play hard! And if you’re not in, you can’t win.
Memorable Sporting Achievement: Beating my wife (U.S. show jumper Chris McCrea) in the Jan. ‘09 “Battle of the Sexes” class at WEF, tying for 1st place with her at the $30,000 Grand Prix of Lake Placid in July ‘08, and winning Team Silver at the WEF ’07 Nation’s Cup.
Other Awards and Honors: Represented Ireland in ‘86 and ‘88 on the Pony Nation’s Cup team, won the 4-Year Old National Championship in ‘98 at the Balmoral Grand Prix and Dublin Horse Show.
