Ashlee "Bonesy" Bond
Hometown: Hidden Hills, California
Place of Birth: Hollywood, California
Occupation: Equestrian
Why This Sport: Because there's nothing else like it, you get to fly on an animal that's so powerful and it's the most freeing feeling one could experience.
Hobbies: Hanging out with friends, riding motorized vehicles, eating yummy food and better desserts, reading, going on adventures and anything that is fun and exciting.
Most Influential Person in Career: I don't think I can pick one so it would be my father for being behind me every step of the way and Richard Spooner for being someone I can look up to and learn from.
Hero / Idol: I don't have one but I look up to a lot of people, my parents, Richard, George Morris to name a few.
Superstitions / Rituals / Beliefs: My horses wear an ankle bracelet to ward off the evil eye, it's something fun and gives them a little bling. I believe if something is working then there's no need to change it.
Sporting Philosophy / Motto: My motto is to believe in yourself and set dreams that might seem impossible to others but completely attainable to yourself and then prove everyone wrong when you go out and get it done.
Memorable Sporting Achievement: Winning the Warsteiner Prize in Aachen, holding up that huge beer while still on my horse. That was a great memory!
Other Awards and Honors: Won 13 Grand Prixs to date, four-time Nations Cup Team Medalist (three gold, one silver); winner of the Maxine Beard Award.
Ashlee's Pennfield: Fibregized Omega, Grand Prix Granola
